JAZZ UNDER THE STARS 'Jazz under the Stars' is this year's theme for a night featuring Unit 5 junior high and high school jazz musicians. Atmosphere is casual and offers an environment for dining while listening to these talented young musicians. The event is March 8, and doors open at 5 with music starting at 5:15 and ending at 8:45.The evening includes performances by Unit 5 jazz bands that represents 3 of its junior highs and both high schools. Concessions and silent auction are available. Cash price is $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. Online price is $5.25 for adults and $3.25 for students and seniors.

GOLDEN APPLE FINALIST Unit 5 is proud to announce that John Bierbaum is a finalist for the 2019 prestigious Golden Apple Awards for Excellence in Teaching.
