I have: No $1000 special tools No $700 service manual No $400 a piece injectors No $700 software No $100 an hour labor rates Although I have never done this before, I'm sure I could R&R all 6 injectors in a short day. Maybe another day if I had to R&R the sleeves/cups, making my own special tooling. I intend to clean the carbon deposits from the cups and inspect them and then install 6 quality re-manufactured injectors for $160 each. You could pay $300 to $400 for reman injectors if you wanted to (Plus Labor). Test and new o-rings can be done for $20-$50 each (Plus Labor).
I think the PO just stuck any old used injector in there without even using new o-rings. Anyway, I want to know exactly what I'm starting with.
