In the end, Eloni prooved to be even easier than the original version, due to the melee not only being actually usefull now, but very strong. You just have to disregard the 'time limit' as a white mage, seeing the coments, a warrior can actually do this (I still think it has to be tweaked in terms of given time as you won't have it to even get the lost rangers if you wanted to and the general unit's position in the camp). I am not sure if the elven Sawmill was the prize for the completion though, if so, I am screwed, as I haven't found one! - now I am in the Wildland pass, sawmill-less, having cleared the 'wall', surrounded by million of towers to keep the waves of two-hit orcs at bay and seeing no way to dispatch their spawning buildings! Spiders are not strong either.

I guess I have to wait for another spawn of the Dawn cavalery (quite nice, but so long to wait for!). Or, as always, I didn't quite get something, that would make this map easy as well. The cosmetic changes, such as eloni patrols and quests npcs no longer staying in the wilderness are amazing. I am eager for your touch on the BOW - as it has tons of stupidity going on, such as survivors just 'chilling' in the conquered land (why even flee if nobody touches you?) or 'liberating' a city with an evil army standing just nearby! Let you have some army actually. Maybe I just don't understand something and you have to abuse the scripts? Clear the plain before talking to Lycande? Get a pack of warriors before opening the gate? Or just reroll to a warrior.
